Nigeria’s President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) has condoled with the family of Pioneer President of the Customary Court of Appeal, Late Justice Moses Bello, who passed away after a brief illness.
Describing Bello’s career as one which ‘lighted the path for many, revealing a deep sense of fairness and balance’, Buhari said his legacies would always be remembered.
This was disclosed in a statement titled ‘President Buhari Mourns Pioneer President of the Customary Court of Appeal, Justice Moses Bello’ signed by the Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity), Femi Adesina on Wednesday.
“President Muhammadu Buhari condoles with the Body of Benchers, Nigerian Bar Association and National Judicial Council on the passing of the pioneer President of the Customary Court of Appeal, Justice Moses Bello.
“The President commiserates with family, friends and professional associates of the legal luminary, whose career lighted the path for many, revealing a deep sense of fairness, balance and love for humanity.
“President Buhari believes the legacies of Justice Bello will always be remembered, praying that the Almighty God will accept his soul and comfort his family,” the statement reads.
